This lovely pin is signed Nolan Miller. It is separated from the original paperwork, so I do not “yet” know its official name. It is a wearable 3″ in length with crystal rhinestones and rhodium plating.
Nolan Miller designs are often inspired by vintage jewelry. Currently I’m working on the MAZER/JOMAZ information for Chapter Two of Collecting Costume Jewelry 404 and this design has the “look” of something made by JOMAZ. The lines of the pin are graceful, the plating is beautiful, and the blue oval stones (in two sizes) are perfectly arranged on the stems. The tiny crystals, glued into round setting to add sparkle to the design, are a design trait of vintage MAZER/JOMAZ jewelry.
I haven’t seen this Nolan Miller design before, so it may be scarce. Hopefully, one day I will find the correct name. In the meantime, I will wear and enjoy this beauty!
