Yesterday, I added Mazer and Jomaz to the list of Classically Collectible Brands in Chapter Two of Collecting Costume Jewelry 404. I hope you enjoy the new entry.
There are two parts to Chapter Two. Part One includes Classically Collectible Brands that began prior to World War II that have, through integrity and a drive for excellence, survived for decades in the competitive world of costume jewelry. Two more brands will be added to Part One: Pennino, and Trifari. More brands can be added later but I plan to move to Part Two after Pennino and Trifari.
Part Two is a showcase of collectible brands that started after the war. It consists of galleries of collectible jewelry highlighting specific brand traits. Although some of the brands can be expensive, the jewelry is often found in wonderful condition with quality design elements.
In the meantime, I have a beautiful new Nolan Miller set to add to the Nolan Miller gallery. I’ll try to post a picture of it soon.
