It has been a busy week! I finished scanning into my web site most of the vintage jewelry advertising I collected over the years. Many of the ads are in my books; however, to see a specific ad required paging through the books. Coro ads, Trifari ads etc. were in all three books. They are now available online under the Information heading. My sweet husband created a table of contents for over 40 brands, so the advertisements are easy to find.
The Coro and Trifari ads are listed by decade.
Some ads were surprising, like the 1962 Haskell ad below. It is an inexpensive Haskell design from that era originally published in a tiny, tiny corner of a magazine page.
I don’t believe the following Weiss advertisement was included in any of my books. Unfortunately, there are no captions, but the jewelry is wonderful!
I kept the size of the advertisements as large as was practical. They load quickly but are large enough, in most cases, to read. My tablet permits me to use my fingers to enlarge the screen to see details when necessary.
It was fun looking back at all of the ads. I hope you enjoy looking through them, too!
Happy Collecting,
Love,
Julie
