Tonight, I want to spend some time on Pididdly Links jewelry. Artist Elise Pittleman and her husband Steve started Pididdly Links in approximately 1969 due to the success Elise was having selling her handmade jewelry. The company remained in business until 1996 when it was sold to two of their employees. At this time, it was renamed Pididdly Links II. Pididdly Links II survived for three years before closing.
Information from an online interview with Elise Pittleman at www.junkboxtreasures.com titled Pididdly Links Jewelry Interview with Elise Pittelman, August 18, 2014 by Daye Salander.
Elise Pittleman continues working as an artist today. She has a website at www.elisepittelman.com. It is well worth the time to visit.
In addition to these great resources, three catalogs have been added to my website: Pididdly Links 1994, Pididdly Links 1995, and Pididdly Links II 1998.
The following are my favorite Pididdly Links jewelry designs — one is very rare!
The following bracelet is a one-of-a-kind bracelet created by hand by Elise Pittleman. It is signed Elise 87. This bracelet is very rare, and I’m thrilled to have it.
I hope you take the time to read the article mentioned above AND view Elise Pittleman’s website.
Happy Collecting,
Love,
Julie
