Shopping, Nettie Rosenstein

Good morning,

I’ve been away from my computer for a few weeks traveling and SHOPPING! The spring and fall are my favorite seasons to hunt for costume jewelry treasures. Today I want to share with you one of my purchases – the following eye-catching Nettie Rosenstein set.

Jewelry signed Nettie Rosenstein is rare and often costly in the collectible marketplace. She was a successful and iconic fashion designer. Sol L. Klein was responsible for Rosenstein jewelry designs from 1940 – 1975.

The Nettie Rosenstein sterling silver jewelry is the most collectible. Two examples are shown below.

However, I couldn’t resist acquiring the lovely, fully signed, non-sterling Rosenstein set shown here.

The brooch measures 1 3/4″. Each clip earring is 1″. The floral design consists of both silver and gold tone metal pieces riveted together. The molded plastic green flowers glow in the right light. They are dimensional and detailed.

Both earrings are also signed (not shown) with a stamped signature.

I love this set and I hope you enjoyed the photos. I’ll try to post more 2023 spring treasures soon.

Happy Collecting!

Love,

Julie
