Both of these lightweight floral pins were designed and manufactured by DeLizza and Elster. The peridot pin is featured in Collecting Costume Jewelry 404 and described as one of my favorite pieces to wear.
This week I was happy to find a light sapphire version, in silver tone metal, with the same DeLizza and Elster design. Small differences in the curve of the stems and the placement of the petals adds to the eye-catching interest when the two are worn together.
Skinny navette-shaped stones are a brand trait of many DeLizza and Elster designs. Both pins are beautifully made.
I want to end this short blog with a thank you to the vendor who sold me the light sapphire pin. I purchased it online, so it arrived in the mail. The padded envelope was a muddy mess complete with a muddy boot print! As you can see the pin is in wonderful condition due to the vendor’s secure packaging. The pin was bagged and placed in a sturdy cotton-lined box. The box was then secured in a small, padded envelope. The small, padded envelope was then mailed in a larger padded envelope. Thank you to a first-rate vendor.
