Except for the Weiss pieces I love to wear, my Weiss jewelry has been stored for many, many years. It was fun looking at it again.
My Weiss jewelry was stored in cotton lined jewelry boxes. Over the years, the prongs stuck to the cotton. So, if you see white fuzz in the photos, it is cotton fibers from the boxes. Despite the fibers, the cotton did a great job protecting the pieces from moisture and dust.
I’ve started researching another brand I hope to add soon. It has also been in storage for years. As I photograph the jewelry, I will be on the lookout for mischievous white cotton fibers trying to photo bomb my pictures.
