I’m delighted to introduce a new unit about American-Made Schiaparelli jewelry. It can be found in the Table of Contents, Chapter 2 Part 2 of Collecting Costume Jewelry 404.
Julie Francis Irving, Collector and Researcher of Schiaparelli American-Made jewelry generously contributed her expertise, and a sampling of jewelry to the unit. The set below is one of my favorites. I love the juxtaposition of the baroque-shaped lava stones with the smooth pearlized cabochon stones. The light sapphire glass beads are a perfect color match to the Schiaparelli lava stones.
This unit is a snapshot of beautifully designed jewelry, under the brand umbrella of Elsa Schiaparelli manufactured and sold in the United States. I hope you enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed working on it with Julie Irving.
